Places to stay when visiting the studio. The nearest hotel is the Premier inn (Manchester North, Middleton) Which is on Junction 18 of the M60 and is very reasonably priced. There is a pub next door where you can get food
If you want to stay in the city, here are a list of hotels that are a bit more upmarket and are all (with the exception of the Lowery) are within walking distance of Piccadilly train station

Velvet Hotel which is in the Manchester gay village but you don’t have to be gay to stay here. All are welcome

Ocean treasure Is a BIG Chinese restaurant not to far from the studio on a industrial estate but don’t let this fool you. The food is amazing and very good value for money plus lots of Chinese people eat here which is always a good sign
In the city center there are plenty of places to choose from but here are some that I can recommend
The Angel (Gastro pub, great food and real cask ales) Jamie Oliver (Italian) Carluccios (Italian) Wings (Chinese) EastzEast (Indian) Australasia (Fusion cooking at its best)
There are Hundreds of bars to choose from in the city and there is something there for everyone but the trendy area is in the Northern Quarter and the Hip joints are on or around Deansgate
