Me being a carnivore of sorts, have a great liking for good sausages. There are many weird and wacky sorts out there that you can buy but I have to say the without doubt, the BEST I have ever tasted are what is know as “The Manchester Sausage” from Lords Butchers here in Middleton. Lords have been around forever and is a fourth generation family butchers now being run by David and Andrew Lord who have been featured on TV many times for their produce and wares. They were pretty much doing “Organic” meat before the word was even invented. I used to go to school with David and am really pleased that he stayed within the family business.
